ACCESSIBILITY MEETS COMMUNITY AT THEATRE BURLINGTON

Theatre Burlington is proud to enhance the theatre experience for patrons who are hard of hearing.

Through the support of the Slaight Family Foundation, and in partnership with Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility, Theatre Burlington now features an audio accessibility system bringing clear, real-time sound directly through your Bluetooth-enabled hearing aid or cochlear implant.

The Bettear system streams high-quality, low-latency audio, allowing you to enjoy every moment on stage, from dialogue to musical cues, clearly and confidently.

HOW TO USE BETTEAR

Before visiting follow the steps below to set up Bettear on your smartphone device:

• Download the Bettear app on Google Play or the App Store.
• Bring your smartphone and your listening preference – Bluetooth enabled hearing aids, cochlear implants, or headphones/earbuds 
• Open the app, choose the event or performance, and adjust the volume to your comfort.
