AUDITION NOTICE

Our annual holiday show is a one-hour, all ages production. This new version of the show follows a band of actors bringing the story to life at an Italian carnival, including music, dancing, corny jokes, and lots of audience participation. It’s a modern twist on the classic tale and the perfect way to introduce the young (and young at heart) to the magic of live theatre.
CAST REQUIRED
*must be 16+ to audition
Pinocchio: The wandering, wooden hero, (Any gender, age 16-24)
Fox: A crafty canine who follows the hero, (Any gender, age 20+)
Cat: A felonious feline with a heart of gold, (Any gender, age 20+)
Narrator/Puppet Master: The ringmaster of an acting troupe, (Any gender, age 30+)
Geppetto: Pinocchio’s kind-hearted father, (Male, age 50+)
Blue Fairy: Good fairy, looking out for Pinocchio, (Female, age 25-40)
Alfonso and Alfredo: Two actors; clumsy, physical jokers, (Any gender, ages 16-35)
Marietta: A young girl and Pinocchio’s friend, (Female, age 16-24)
BEN: A villainous rogue, (Male, age 40+)
OPEN AUDITION DATES & TIMES
Tuesday June 24th, 7 pm to 10 pm & Wednesday June 25th, 7 pm to 10 pm
Callback’s (if needed), Sunday June 29th, 1pm to 3pm
All auditions are in 15min slots and will consist of cold readings from the script. For all parts, improv skills and ability to play an instrument are an asset. (Advance scripts not available.) Advance booking suggested, but walk-ins will be seen as available.

**All shows are afternoons, with 2 performances per day.
